TBRA is committed to encouraging the development of Tennessee Junior and U23 competitive cyclists. TBRA's primary mechanism in support of this initiative is to offer grant awards to member clubs that incur costs incident to establishment or maintenance of club-based developmental programs. Also, TBRA sponsors state-wide development camps. In addition, TBRA recognizes junior "Rider of the Year" racers in six road, two mountain, and two cyclocross age-group classes, awarding jerseys and other awards. |

TBRA Junior and U23 Grant
The goal of the TBRA Grant for Tennessee Junior and U23 Development program is to support Tennessee-based clubs that offer developmental programs to junior and U23 cyclists. Grant awards provide financial reimbursement to clubs that incur costs associated with those developmental programs. The grant award is designed to relieve a portion of the financial costs and fees incurred for the promotion of Juniors & U-23 development camps, for the entry, attendance and travel costs related to participation at designated regional or national camps, and for the entry, attendance and travel costs related to participation at specific events which are qualifiers for national or international competitions.
